Converting photos to SVG, creating silhouettes, memories

A common question and project need is to convert a photo to a usable image for using in Cricut Design Space or Cameo Design Studio.

Silhouette designs are perfect for glass blocks, memorial frames, decals and window designs.

To get the photo into a silhouette format requires a conversion process and there are many online tools to help you get the job done.  Some will output to a JPG or PNG file, others like PicSVG will give you an SVG file to import directly into your design.
